The Bylaws & Standing Rules Committee maintain conformity of Chapter Bylaws & Standing Rules with the International Bylaws & Standing Rules and the Division Bylaws & Standing Rules. The Committee proposes Amendments and Resolutions, receives all suggestions for Amendments to the Bylaws & Standing Rules of the chapter and prepares them in proper form and submits them for action by membership in accordance with Article XI of the Bylaws & Standing Rules. The Committee submits Chapter Bylaws & Standing Rules and/or Amendments thereto to the Division Bylaws & Standing Rules Committee for review and approval as amended or at least every two (2) years in accordance with International Bylaws & Standing Rules and Division Bylaws & Standing Rules. The Committee assists the Board of Directors and the membership in preparing and submitting Amendments to the International Bylaws & Standing Rules and/or Division Bylaws & Standing Rules on behalf of the chapter. The Committee also reviews all Amendments to International Bylaws & Standing Rules and/or Division Bylaws & Standing Rules proposed by other units of IAAP and makes recommendations to the chapter membership.
