Omega Chapter

The Omega Chapter is to honor and remember IAAP members who are no longer with us.

T
o remember them, a small table is set for one, symbolizing the frailty of our lives.  The tablecloth is white, symbolizing the purity of our friendship with them.  The single red rose reminds us of those left behind – the families and loved ones.  The yellow ribbon reminds us of the ribbons worn upon the breasts of millions to honor those men and women who are missing, just as we honor our dear friends who are no longer with us.  The slice of lemon reminds us of their bitter fate.  The salt reminds us of their families’ tears.  The single candle reminds us of the light they brought to our lives and the flame reminds us that they will forever remain in our hearts.  The glass is inverted, they cannot toast with us today.  The chair is empty, they are not here.  All of you who knew them remember them.  Let us keep their memory alive.  Let us not forget them.
